Wayne was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 1988.  He is also admitted as a solicitor in Queensland, Australia.

He advises clients:

• Property;
• General corporate and commercial;
• Health law.

Wayne acts for a range of clients including private clients, small to large businesses and clients involved with property developments.  In the health area he advises health care professionals and clinical providers on general commercial and contracting strategies, both in the public and private sectors.

During his career, Wayne has worked both in law firms and as in-house legal counsel/general manager of large health industry organisations.  From his work as in-house legal counsel he has gained first-hand knowledge of the issues facing, and legal requirements of, commercial entities which he applies in his legal practice.

Wayne is a member of the Institute of Directors, a former trustee of Art and Industry Trust and a former contributor to the Health Funds of New Zealand.
